I Hate College But I Want to Be Successful

This is what I thought about my college during those days. Sometimes, I would even question whether I should drop out of college if I hated it. I would even convince myself of this decision, but thankfully, my parents won’t let me pursue it.

I am saved, thankfully not unfortunately, because leaving college would not be a good decision. I would be paying a heavy price in the shape of many hardships that life would throw at me. I am speaking about the experiences of many fellows who would often say I hate college but love all the parties.

Why Do We Hate College?

Let’s say you hear a student scream, ‘I hate college what do I do’ in frustration, and you approach him to inquire why. His answers to why do I hate college would be similar to every unhappy college student. So, Should I drop out of college if I hate it? No, try to find the main reasons for such hatred and see you can work on them;

College Life Demands Discipline

To some extent, you have to be disciplined and punctual in college. Pupils must attend classes on time and appear in examinations that require some preparation. Students, on the other hand, love parties at this stage. Most of them lack vision and would do anything for pleasure at the moment.

Hence, the strict policies of college are like secret handcuffs for them. That’s why when someone asks why you hate college, they will say I hate college but love all the parties. Some of them are forcefully studying because their parents are concerned and keep reminding about the age at which you graduate from college successfully. This also frustrates students.

College Expenses Are High

Students must pay heavy sums as fees to the college every six months or 12 months. Most of them don’t have family support for that, so they have to work for it to pay the fees and study. They sometimes get frustrated and want to leave college to take this additional burden off their shoulders at this age. Hence, such students often say, ‘I hate college, but I want to be successful.’

Have to Work on Assignments

Teachers assign too many assignments to students these days, some as classwork and some as homework with strict deadlines. Most of the students are not good at writing these assignments and, hence want to leave college so they don’t have to work on them. A clever student will look for a professional assignment writing service online to help him work on the assignment instead of saying I hate college.

Lack of Proper Teaching Staff

I have heard my fellow students say that I hate college but I want to be successful. In this case I would suggest, no doubt, some colleges need to improve at providing quality teachers for students. Hence, as a result, students don’t develop the proper understanding of that subject. Therefore, they don’t enjoy sitting in a classroom and want more time to stay out of the class, which is often impossible. Hence, they start to hate college.

The Lost of Friendship

Sometimes, you could hear students saying I hate college; what do I do because they have lost a favorite colleague. It gets tough to concentrate on your studies when you lose someone so instantly whose company would motivate you to visit college every day. This one is not a very common reason but it is definitely one reason for many students to start hating college and lose their track.

Do You Still Hate Your College?

I can hear you screaming I hate college but I can feel that you are still there. Perhaps you hate college but want to be successful, which is, of course, a great thing but not possible. Hence, Instead of hating college, work your heart out by staying in the college because that’s the time that will decide your future life. So the choice is yours if you want to choose misery or a comfortable life in the future.
